Now Read on about FMORT...

So what is FMORT?

FMORT stands for Five Minutes of Random Thoughts. It is a byproduct of a wild whim that played in my mind during one of my day dreaming sessions. In an attempt to bring something productive out of it, I thought of giving it a shape. It is fun to read what people think, when they are asked to think for five minutes of allotted time.

Steps to follow:

  • Get an alarm/stop watch, piece of paper, pen.
  • Set the alarm to ring 5 minutes 10 secs later.
  • Take deep breath for 10 secs.
  • Now, set your mind free.
  • Scribble whatever comes to your mind on the paper for 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes, tweak the scribbles into meaningful sentences.
  • Post it to your blog.
  • The title should be, "My FMORT". Dont expand FMORT in the title as the purpose is to popularize FMORT.
  • The first line should read, "I am tagged by XYZ", where XYZ should be the name of the blog who asked you to tag and link XYZ to the post.
  • Then ask a fellow blogger to do the same and link to your post.

Now sit back and relax. You would be amazed at the speed with which FMORT spreads.And you will be one link of the long chain on Internet. Happy Thinking :)

Famous quote by Charlotte Bronte

There is this famous quote by Charlotte Bronte --

"Life is so constructed that an event does not, cannot, will not, match the expectation" that is so true.

A Picture speaks a 1000 words..

Life is how we see it..!!

The world is changing... I can see and feel every thing happening in this world.. I can see the people changing for good reasons and for bad reasons too..

I am not scared to grow up and I am not a pessimist but I do not understand why this is happening.. I can see and feel the things happening in the world but do not have any answers as to why it happens..

Almost everyone run away from major issues like poverty, global warming, inflation etc.. They are so involved in a rat-race that they forget their family and friends.. Why does this happen? People tell me-"to meet the needs of us and our family we need to be like this". Not that they do it on purpose but the scare in them that they may be left out makes them to do it over and over again..

I see individual(s) loving two people at the same time.. I feel sad for them.. If asked they say "its life.. have to move on.. and not satisfied with one".. Uh hmm, well I would not comment on this one.. !But why ?

I am not into depression (which of course sounds abnormal i guess..!) at all if one may think.. But I am a person who always feels "why is this happening? why the world is changing?"

Life is soo lifeless as we see it today.. No love, no relations, no feelings nothing.. Life has become so mechanical.. I am scared of my life turning into a one where there is no time for family or friends..

I do not want to turn into the people who have little feelings for themselves as well as for others.. I want to help the needy.. But sad that I am helpless..

All this starts happening when a person enters into the so-called quarter-life-crisis stage.. At this stage one will start finding fault in oneself and others.. One stops believing in all the good things and good friendship and true love..

Hmm.. I think I am entering this stage but I do not want to be like the others who are already in this stage..

I will hold on and enjoy each moment in life.. Plan properly and thus be there for family and friends.. I want to believe in good things still exist.. True love and true friendship also exists..
"Life is how we see it.. ! " And its in our hands to make it worth living not only for ourselves but for those who are attached to us deeply...

Words of wisdom ..!

"If you want to know your past life,
look into your present condition;
if you want to know your future,
look into your present action.
It is not the wind that is moving;
it is not the flag that is moving;
it is mind that is moving.
There are no holy places and no holy people,
only holy moments, only moments of wisdom."
--anonymous

Each word from the above has so much of importance and so much of wisdom..

The present situation we are in, tells a lot about the past-what decisions we took so that we are here at present. We cannot change the past but what we can do is learn from the past and make better decisions to have a good future..

We should begin to live in each day.. Nobody cannot change the past. If we are positive, confident and brave in the decisions we take today then the future will be bright and better than today.

A Few years ago I had read-what ever we think, so we will be.

Each day we should learn more, laugh more and do what you truly love to do.

We need to tune the mind for good thoughts. These positive habits will definitely create results.
I am reading "The monk who sold his Ferrari" in which it says mind is like a garden in the backyard. And we need to stand guard at this garden so that no weeds grows in it.

This is one phrase from this book "The monk who sold his Ferrari", which I will always cherish "Life is no brief candle to me. It's a sort of splendid torch which I've got to hold up for the moment and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations."

Never expect a lot from the people who are close to your heart because its you who will feel bad in the long run. Instead, do what you love and that, for sure, will make you feel good.
"For what lies behind you and what lies in front of you matters little when compared to what lies within you" -- The monk who sold his Ferrari
